Steam locomotive without tender with saturated vapour boiler constructed in the Belgian factory under German occupational management is representative of a series dedicated to shunting work at industrial plants. Its construction derived from locomotives type 23 (later 53) produced by Belgian factories  between 1904-1927 for the State Railways. The  locomotive, preserved as one of two copies exploited in Poland, due to its origins and constructional features is a very valuable piece. It was built on the request of Gräflich Schaffgotsch'sche Werke GmbH industrial concern, for the "Johanna Gräfin"  coal mine in Bobrek (Bytom), which in 1945 as the "Bobrek"  mine became a part of Ruda Śląska Union of Coal Industry (Rudzkie Zjednoczenie Przemysłu Węglowego ) and then (from 1 April 1957)  entered into Bytom ZPW. This locomotive was acquired to support the siding of a new  shaft  called "Berve" ( "Barbara"), attached to the primal  mine after 1939. For nearly 40 years, until the end of 1981 it was used for shunting work.
